Earl Massengill of Oxford, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at the age of 87. Mr. Massengill enjoyed the outdoors by working in his vegetable garden and hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wiley Massengill and Laura (Longworth) Massengill; granddaughter, Lauren Massengill; grandson, Ronny Robertson; 4 sisters and 4 brothers.

Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Ezell Massengill; daughters and son-in-law, Linda Wilson, Mary Weldon, Laura Jean and Tom Carswell; sons and daughters-in-law, David E. and Teodora Massengill, Andrew and Brandy Massengill; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Pauline Cavins; brother and sister-in-law, RJ and Penny Massengill; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service for Mr. Massengill will be held Saturday, April 27, 2019, 2:00 P.M. at Lawnwood Memorial Park, 1111 Access Road, in Covington with Pastor Justin Adams officiating. Friends may visit with the family at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, Friday, April 26, from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M.
