HALENE MAE EVANS MOORE, 85, of Huntington, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 27, 2018, at the home of her nephew, James (Mickey) McDonald, and his wife, Tammy of Culloden, where she had been residing during her illness with Alzheimer's. Halene was the daughter of the late Walter and Violet Evans. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Moore; two sisters, Geraldine McDonald and Wanda McComas. She is survived by three brothers, Raymond Evans, Rex (Irene) Evans of Milton and Leonard (Angela) Evans of Huntington; and several nieces and nephews. During Halene's life she loved and was devoted to the care of her family and friends. A special thank you to Cassie and Anna Salmons, Sarah McDonald, Rachel McDonald Theiss, Matthew and Katie McDonald and Chelsey Wilson who took care of her in her illness. Also, thank you to Hospice of Huntington for their care and support. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, December 30, 2018, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, with Pastor Chad Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, Huntington.
