QUANAH - Lorene K. Howard, 97, formerly of Quanah, died Monday, May 28, 2007, in Huntsville, Ala.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Quanah First Christian Church with the Rev. Wayne Hollinshead officiating. Burial will be in Goodlett Cemetery by Smith Funeral Home.
Mrs. Howard was born Oct. 9, 1909, in Slidell to Samuel D. and Adie Kerr. She married Radford Howard in 1934 and moved to Quanah.
Survivors include two daughters, Wanda Boyd of Phoenixville, Pa., and Beverly Williamson of Huntsville, Ala.; three granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to First Christian Church community outreach, P.O. Box 356, Quanah, TX 79252; or a favorite charity.
