AGE 83 YEARS

June M. Puterbaugh, of Bodines, passed away with family by her side Friday, April 19, 2019, at home. She was a daughter of the late Harry S. Webster and Josephine I. (Smith) Snyder.

June attended Mountain View Fellowship. In 1999 she retired after 35 years of employment at the former JK Rishel, now Hon Furniture Company from the accounts payable department. June enjoyed reading, yard sales, swimming, camping and traveling. She was an avid Fox News watcher, who could crack a quick joke and show you her feisty personality. June had a special knack for giving those she loved nicknames and could always bring life to any party.

Surviving are five daughters, Catherine A. Oliver (Edward), of Bodines; Tina M. Cashner (Larry), of Woolrich; Cheryl L. Thorpe (Mark Grimes), of Lock Haven; Dawn L. Boyd (Ken), of Morrisdale; and Jackolyn S. Smith (Mark), of Bodines; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Floyd “Skeet” Webster (Wilhelmenia), of Bodines.

In addition to her parents June was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, John E. “Jack” Puterbaugh, on Feb. 10, 2002, a daughter, Brenda K. Greene, a brother, Paul Hubbard, and two sisters, Dorothy Moore and Esther Allen.

A celebration of life service to honor June will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 27, at Mountain View Fellowship, 202 Old Barn Road, Trout Run.
Burial will be held privately in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
