Dorothy and Mike lived in Springfield for several years. After his passing, she moved to the Quincy Senior Center, where she enjoyed living and had many friends and felt very much at home. She loved teddy bears and her apartment was always full of them. She liked to show them to anyone that came to visit and was so proud. Dorothy enjoyed doing crafts, watching movies, eating popcorn, and visiting with her friends. She also liked to attend the Barry Apple Festival, spend time with her family, and she enjoyed going shopping. Dorothy absolutely loved fried chicken.
She is survived by a brother, Herman E. Hall of Keokuk, IA; three sisters, Doris Hall of Pittsfield, IL, Shirley (DeWayne) Williams of Barry, IL, and Betty (Larry) Huddleston of Beverly, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike; and her parents, William and Myra.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Park Lawn Cemetery in Barry, IL. Memorials are suggested to the family. Niebur Funeral Chapel in Barry is handling the arrangements.
