Gussie Riley Craddock, age 98, of Cumming, GA formerly of Atlanta, GA passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-seven years, Milton L. “Bob” Craddock; son, Bobby Craddock; grandson, Michael Craddock; sisters, Irene Blalock, Luvinia Wofford, Moena Craddock; brothers, Andrew Riley, and George Riley. She is survived by her children, Jerry and Kathy Craddock, Cumming, GA, Barbara and Jerry Parks, Buford, GA; daughter-in-law, Linda Craddock, Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren, Amy Parks Fulmer and husband, Josh, Burke, VA, Stephen Parks, Manhattan, NY, Tracy and Brian Cherry, Alpharetta, GA, Kristy and Andy Wyatt, Cumming, GA; great grandchildren, Katie Craddock-Dinsmore, Jacob Cherry, Ben Cherry, Matthew Craddock, Ella Wyatt, Avery Fulmer, and Landon Fulmer; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Craddock was born November 4, 1918 in Lula, GA. She was a homemaker and a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Dawsonville, GA. “Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy, she was a very devoted Christian woman”. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Dr. Charles Blackstock officiating. Interment will follow at Wildwood Baptist Church Cemetery in Griffin, GA with a graveside service at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2016. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Lighthouse Baptist Church, 329 Harmony Church Road, Dawsonville, GA 30534 in memory of Gussie Craddock.
