Charles McKinney, nearly seventy eight years of age and for 37 years an employee of the Marion Steam Shovel Co., died at one o'clock Friday afternoon at his home, 579 Cherry Street. He was the son of L.D. and Icy Bandy McKinney and was born in Scioto county, May 26, 1852.
IN March, 1892, Mr. McKinney moved to Marion and since that time has resided at the home on Cherry Street. He was married to Miss Caroline A Sontag, also from Scioto county, on March 15, 1892. They had no children.
One sister, Mrs. Myra Decker of Los Angeles, is living. A brother, William, and five sisters preceded him in death.
