Ora Wesley McMahan, born June 15, 1923, died peacefully at age 82 on Monday morning, February 20, 2006, at Sevier County Health Care Center. He was a veteran of the United States Army, being discharged in 1944. Ora was a member of Wrights Ferry Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by parents Allen and Gertie McMahan, sons John and Steve McMahan, grandsons Wesley Finchum and Johnny Rex McMahan, sister Lois Patterson, brothers Ray, Robert, Otha, Elmer, Frank, and Ralph McMahan, and the mother of his children Mable Ogle McMahan.
He leaves behind his:
