Florence A. McDonough, 7 Chestnut Ave., Carbondale, died Sunday in Mid Valley Hospital, Peckville, following an illness. She was the wife of Thomas McDonough.
Born in Forest City, daughter of the late Ignatz and Anna Morawski Grum, she had been employed by Sugerman's Department Store, Eynon. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale, and was president of the Belmont Neigh. borhood Association.
Also surviving are a son, Thomas III, at home; three daughters, Mrs. Barbara Arnold, Minnesota; Mrs. Cathy Phillips, Jermyn, and Mrs. Judith Arnold, Waymart; a brother, Ig. natz, Richmondale; a sister, Mrs. Mary Nevins, Carbondale; six grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
