LIFE-LONG RESIDENT DIES AT HIS HOME

John Q. Bragg passed away at his home March 4, after a long illness. He had always lived in this community and was a member of the Christian church 1906. Funeral services were held in the Oak Grove church Sunday afternoon in charge of W.B. Hopper and interment was made in the Oak Grove cemetery. Mr. Bragg was born Feb. 26, 1870, near Sullivan, the son of Louis and Martha Bragg. He was married to Rebecca Sharp March 29, 1891, 58 years ago. Surviving are his wife; his children, Veva, Vada, Acel, Osa, John, Dale and Stanley; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. One son Oral, preceded his father in death.
