Bobby Ray Goodman, 80, of Irving, Texas passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2019. He was born on November 25, 1938 in Celeste, Texas the son of J.W. and Nancy Goodman. Bob worked for Bell & Howell till he retired. In 2017 he was ordained as a Deacon of Irving Baptist Fellowship. Bob enjoyed fishing, gardening, and serving his church family, by doing many jobs around the church. Most of all he loved being with his family. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, J.W. and Nancy Goodman; and daughter, Deana Cleveland. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Goodman; children, Robert Goodman and wife, Mary, Mike Goodman and wife, Susan, Amanda Felts, David Cleveland; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, other family and friends. Visitation will be held at Irving Baptist Fellowship from 9-10am on April 20, 2019. Funeral service will start at 10:00 am. Interment will be at 2:00 pm on April 20, 2019 at Hogeye Cemetery in Celeste, Texas.
