Bertha Viola "Sue" Hartley, a retired employee with the Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections and a resident of Denham Springs, died on Thursday, April 26, 2007. She was 78 and a native of Corinth, Miss.
Visiting at Greenwell Springs Baptist Church until religious service, conducted by Brother George. Interment in the church cemetery. Arrangements by Renaissance Services, Gonzales.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Stacey and Clayton Caldwell; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nephew, John "Andy" Hartley and his friend, Donald Williamson; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Annie Hartley; and four brothers and a sister.
