Miss Gladys Lucille Thomas, 72, of the Methodist Home, died Friday at Orangeburg Regional Hospital. Born in Atlanta, she was a daughter of the late Claud Franklin and Aida Wooley Thomas. She was a retired civil service employee and a member of Main Street United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Edna Patrick of Mission Viejo, Calif.; a brother, Bert L. Thomas of Kingman, Ariz.; and nieces, and nephews.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Ferguson Chapel, Main Street United Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Dr. E. W. Rogers and the Rev. Paul W. Harmon. Dunbar Funeral Home, Gervais Street Chapel, is in charge.
