BATHURST.—Mrs. Emma Bathurst, wife of Calvin Bathurst, of Curtin, died on Tuesday night of last week after an illness of six years. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs Edward Speer and was born on October 21st, 1861.
In addition to her husband she is survived by the following children: Mrs. Maude McGovern, Mrs. Nannie Lutz and Mrs. Kate Staver, of Bellefonte; Mrs. Charlette Stanley, of Milesburg; Mrs. Myrtle Lucas, of fairview; Sue, Ralph, Laird and Ross at home.
Burial was made at Curtin last Thursday afternoon.
