ATKINS - Funeral for Clyde Peters, 39, of Greenfield, California, a native of Atkins, who died November 28 in Greenfield, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Atkins Assembly of God Church. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery near here by Lemley Funeral Home. He was a cafe owner and had lived in California 19 years. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson Peters; four sons, John Peters, Wayne Peters, and Joseph Peters of Greenfield; a brother, G. W. Peters of Chattanooga, Tennessee; three half-brothers, Silas Gray of Atkins, Otis Peters of Tulsa and J. B. Peters of North Little Rock; three half-sisters, Mrs. Katie Bunton and Mrs. Clyde Coffman of Russellville and Mrs. Albert Reighman of Atkins. (Source unknown; obituary was saved by a family member.)
