Anita Evelyn Ralls Brashears, daughter of James W. and Julia A. Million Ralls, was born August 19, 1901, at Fredonia, Kansas and departed this life February 20, 1993, in the Lebanon Care Center.
At the age of seventeen years she accepted Christ as her Savior and united with the Baptist Church in Fredonia, Kansas. At the time of her death she was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Lebanon.
On October 1, 1951, she was united in marriage with Edward Brashears at Hannibal, Missouri. They lived on a farm at Spalding, Missouri until moving to Lebanon. Her husband preceded her in death June 17, 1978.
She is survived by two step-children, Harold E. Brashears of Tucson, Arizona and Helen Dooley of Quincy, Illinois; five step-grandchildren; sixteen step-great-grandchildren; and two step-great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Ray Ralls; three half-brothers; and two half-sisters.
