Age at death: 81 years, -- months, -- days.
Late Residence: Eggertsville, N. Y.
Place of Death: Buffalo General Hospital
Next of Kin: Mrs. Janet Reback.

Mrs. Janet Reback was born Janet Taylor Caldwell and was a major 20th century American author of fiction, primarily based on historical events and persons. Marcus was her second husband.

His remains were "placed in vault" on 8/16/1970 and transferred to current location (sarcophagus) on April 14, 1971.
At the current time the remains of his wife Janet are elsewhere. See memorial #19904026.

An undated copy of a Buffalo Courier-Express article about her is attached to the lot register. It appears to have been published when Janet was alive but her daughter Judith (1932-1979) had been deceased for about 1 year. The article mentions "her wish now is 'to be cremated and her ashes buried at sea.'"
