He was born July 16, 1966 in Chatsworth, GA, a son of the late Carl Cooper Sr. and Viola Cockburn Cooper. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Carl “Joe” Cooper Jr., sister, Deborah Cooper Quezada.
He is survived by his wife, Beth Cooper of the residence, son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Alisha Evett of Sweetwater, TN; daughters, Lacie Nicole Cooper, Jaden Elizabeth Cooper of Cohutta, GA; grandchildren, Trandon and Sawyer Evett; nieces, Wendy and Nick Conner, Heather Green, Melody Halliday; nephew, Raffie Green; great niece and nephew, Ashley Conner, Jonathan Conner, Tallen Nelms, Brileigh Nelms, Addison Green, Bailey Green, Payton Green; special pets, Roscoe and Betty Cooper.
Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Gene Lamar Cooper will be held Tuesday April 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the North West Georgia Christian Fellowship at with Reverend Michael Watkins and Reverend Junior Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Beaverdale Baptist Church Cemetery with Jamie Elrod, Roger Cantrell, Raymond Cantrell, Perry Ogles, Jonathan Conner, and Raffie Green serving as pallbearers.
