CENTENARY - Mrs. Katie Bryan Foxworth, 72, died Wednesday at her home after a short illness. Mrs. Foxworth was born in Marion County, a daughter of the late Marvin E. and Gertrude Harrelson Bryan. She was the widow of the late Edward B. Foxworth Sr.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday in Centenary Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, directed by Smith Brothers Funeral Home.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Robert Patterson Allen of Nashville, Tenn.; two sons, Edward B. Foxworth, Jr. of Maxton, NC and Charles Bryan Foxworth of Rocky Mount, NC; a foster brother, J. B. Coleman of Marion; and 10 grandchildren.
