My 3rd Great Aunt Elizabeth was the daughter of James and Jane Wallace-Smith. She marrried Willis John Rooksberry, February 10, 1852, in Sullivan County, Indiana.
Elizabeth died before the March 24, 1880, when the Sullivan Democrat ran an Administrator's Sale for estate of Elizabeth Rooksberry of Gill Township. Some family members have her death as November 25, 1877, the same as her husband Willis. I have no idea other than it was before 1880. October 1882 was the final settlement of her estate was recorded in Sullivan Co. Probate Court. The Rookdberry's own a business in Carlisle, Haddon Twsp in the 1930's, and lived about four mile southwest of town on a farm.
