Mrs. John w.(Naomi) Harless, 48 of 323 old Bramwell rd passed away Wednesday in a Bluefield hospital after an apparent heart attack.
Born in McDowell county, she was a daughter of Mrs. Athlone McKenzie moody of rock and the late jerry m moody. She was a member of the Christian mission church on Littlesburg rd, and had resided in Bluefield the past 5 and a half years. Mrs Harless was also the owner and operator of ceramic hobby hut on Bluefield Avenue
Survivors include one son, John William Harless Jr. Of the home; four daughters, Martha Ann Baker, Sandra Marie Terry, and Barbara Lynn Gentry, all of Bluefield, and Lorna Jean Laney of Huston Texas.; three brothers, Gerald Rudolph and William Alonzo moody, both of rock, and Ona Bryant moody of Bluefield; two sisters, jerry Mae Jenkins and Irma Gail stock, both of rock; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. in the craven-shires funeral chapel at Bluewell with rev. Wade bishop officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn memorial park cemetery at Bluewell.
Pallbearers: Douglas Tilley, Danny Anders, Clifford Wiley, Jackie Spaulding,Dallas Thomas, David Lester.
