Renelda I. Erwin, 88, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday April 10, 2019 at 2:22 am in Meadows Manor North.

She retired after 30 years as the cafeteria manager at Riley Elementary School.

She was born October 17, 1930 in Warrick County, Indiana to Alvia Bailey and Stella (Shrode) Bailey. Renelda is survived by a daughter, Peggy Summers (Jim) of Terre Haute; a son, Larry Erwin (Francis) of Wildwood, Missouri; grandchildren, Adam Erwin, Karen Pyatt (Ben), Joseph Summers (Crystal), and Alison Dykes (Kevin); great-grandchildren, Audrey and Alex Dykes, Cameron (Kristen) Summers and Caitlyn Summers, Christian Pyatt, Brooklyn Byatt Landon Pyatt, and Emma and Anna Erwin; a brother, Paul Bailey and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Everett Erwin who died March 7, 2005 and seven brothers and one sister.

Renelda was a member of the former Victory Christian Church and she was a member of the Vigo County Cook's Association. Visitation is Friday April 12, 2019 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services on Saturday April 13, 2019 at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Reverend Joseph Summers officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery.
