      Nampa — Services for William B. Cunningham, 55, of Route 4, Nampa, who died at a Nampa hospital Tuesday morning, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Nampa First Christian Church by the Revs. J. Sydney Carnes, pastor, and Frank Marler, also of the church. Interment will follow at Hillcrest on Karcher Road. Services and interment are under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel.
      Mr. Cunningham was born 24 July 1914 at Odell, OR and graduated from Odell High School in 1932 and from the Lewiston State Normal School in 1938. He came to Nampa in 1938, and served as recreation director and taught in the Nampa school system for nine years. In 1947 he formed the Cunningham Distributing Service, which he operated until November 1965. He was a member of the Nampa First Christian Church, Nampa Lodge No 29, AF & AM, Rainbow Chapter No 80, OES of Nampa, the Parks and Recreation Board of Nampa, The Broadmore Country Club, and the past president of the Nampa Athletic Roundtable. He was the recipient of the Nampa Jaycees Distinguished Service Award in 1946.
      He is survived by his wife, Donna Cunningham, to whom he married on 20 May 1939 at Boise; two sons, William B. Cunningham of Portland, OR and Mark D. Cunningham, Nampa; a brother Glenn Cunningham, Portland; three sisters, Bessie Beers, Odell, OR, Ida Baggenstos, Chehalis, WA, and Verna Cole, Desert Hot Springs, CA; and by three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and a sister.
