Ina Jean (Dunagan) Winchester, 87, of Fountaintown, IN passed away on Monday, April 1, 2019 at Community East Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Jean was born February 22, 1932 to James Leslie Dunagan and Rhoda Mae (Morrow) Dunagan in Monticello, KY. After completing her education, she later enjoyed owning and managing her own restaurant "Jean's Kitchen" in Somerset, KY. Most of all she was cherished by her family as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and dear friend who will be missed by the ones she loved very much. Jean is survived by her daughter, Gladys (Danny) Nusbaumer; daughter, Brenda Carroll Dunn; daughter, Theresa (James) Nelson; son, Michael R. (Susie) Swearingen; son, Joe (Sarah) Linville; son, Dan (Geth)Linville; son, Teddy Linville; as well as 25 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Aaron Linville; her husbands, Lester Swearingen, Clifford Galen Linville, and Otis Winchester; her sister, three brothers, one half-sister, and one half-brother.
Friends may gather in Jean's memory on Thursday, April 4, 2019 from 4:00PM – 8:00 PM at Hendryx Mortuary – New Palestine Chapel, 19 East Main St., New Palestine, IN 46163 with funeral services on Friday, April 5, 2019 at 11:00 AM following additional calling from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the mortuary.
