Alvin T. Hastings, 90, of Dyersburg, died Monday at Methodist Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital. He was a farmer, a school bus driver and a member of First Baptist Church in Dyersburg.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of J.W. Curry & Son Funeral Home in Dyersburg. Burial will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery in Obion County.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. today at the Funeral Home. The widower of Agnes Hastings and Birdie Hastings, he leaves a step-son Johnny Welch of Troy, and two sisters, Mattie George of Bogota and Letha Bell of Huntingdon.
