Ray S. Doran, 80, of 1011 S. Elsie Ave., Davenport, died Tuesday in Mercy Hospital.
Services will be 3 p.m. Thursday in the Hill & Fredericks Chapel, Davenport. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.
Visitation begins at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Doran had been employed as a janitor at Monroe Elementary School, retiring in 1956.
He was born in Maquoketa, Iowa. He married Edna Austin in 1912 in Davenport. She died in 1963.
Mr. Doran is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Dorothy) Lange, Mesa, Ariz.; one grandson, and a sister, Mrs. Blanche Stein, Davenport.
