Jerry Lee Cross, Sr., age 69, of Maud, formerly of Deport, passed away, Saturday, April 06, 2019, at Mother Frances Hospital. Jerry was born, September 9, 1949, in Clarksville to Travis and Mildred Winn Cross and retired after forty years working as a Retail Lumber Salesman in the area. He enjoyed outdoor cooking and camping. Jerry was an avid sports fan, on Saturday’s he would be wearing a Texas Longhorn shirt and turn around Sunday and have his Dallas Cowboy’s jersey on. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Martha Genell Cross; and his brother, Harold Cross.

Graveside services are set for 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at Highland Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Colgrove officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Seth Ward, Chris Harvey, Paul Hines, Scott Sanders, Steve Jackson and Roy Bowden.

The family will receive friends an hour before service time at Highland Cemetery in Deport.
