Rosina Louser, 92, Minot, formerly of Garrison, died March 24, 2006, in a Minot hospital. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 30, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Garrison. Burial will be at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Garrison.

A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Visitation will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson Funeral Home, Garrison, and for one hour prior to services at the church.

Rosina was born July 28, 1913, at the Endres Community in rural Max, to Frank and Josephine (Allers) Friese. She was raised and educated in rural Max.

Rosina lived in various locations in McLean County before settling in Garrison in 1945. At one time, she was married to Albert Louser. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Garrison, and was an active member of St. Ann's Altar Society for 52 years. In 1997, she moved to Minot to be near family members and joined Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Minot.

Rosina is survived by three sons, Gary (Jean) Louser and Larry (Diane) Louser, all of Minot, and Bob (Anna) Louser, Issaquah, Wash.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; her sisters, Ethel Jacobson, Minot, and Marcella Osborne, Enumclaw, Wash.; and one brother, Gerald Friese, Garrison.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Gwen Freier; her parents; two brothers, Alfonse and Clarence Friese; and her sisters, Marlene Wieland and an infant sister.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the donor's choice.
