John M. Mael died at the home of H. Parkins a few miles northeast of Palouse Tuesday night, March 19, after an illness of only a few days, of lobar pneumonia.
Mr. Mael had only recently come from Montana and arrived at the Perkins home on the Sunday night before his death. He was a brother to Charles Mael, who lives near Fallon, whose family he was visiting.
The body was shipped to that place Thursday morning for the funeral and burial.
Deceased was 36 years of age, and is survived by a widow and little daughter four years old.
