Rites at Geneva Sunday for Alva Fenstermaker, 75

Alva Fenstermaker, 76, well known retired farmer and school teacher, died at ?? a.m. Thursday (missing). Fenstermaker, who was widely known throughout this community, was the father of Walter Fenstermaker, manager of the Berne Kroger store.

The Geneva man's death was caused by pneumonia. He had been in poor health for a long time.

Mr. Fenstermaker was born Dec. 14, 1879, in Jay County, Ind. The greater part of his life was spent in the vicinity of Geneva. He lived for nearly half a century on the farm a couple miles southwest of Geneva. For many years (missing) tilled the farm on which he lived. He was well and favorably known in the community and had served as township assessor many times. He was a member of the Geneva E.U.B. Church.

Surviving are the wife, Alpha (missing).

Funeral services will be held ???, Dr. A. B. McKain officiating. Burial will be at Gravel Hill Cemetery.
