John Floyd Corder

John Floyd Corder, an attorney, died in a hospital in Barbour County, West Virginia, Friday. Mr. Corder had practiced law about forty-five years and until recently was active in both legal and political circles, being a candidate for both state senator and Congress in years past. He served as district attorney for the Home Owners Loan Cooperation up to 1935. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church, the Elks Club, and the American Bar Association. The family moved to Topeka, Kan., from Richmond, Va., one year ago.

He is survived by his wife, Edith C. Corder; a daughter, Miss Mary Virginia Corder, both of Topeka; one son, Kenneth Wilson Corder, an attorney of Atlanta, Ga., and two grandchildren; three brothers and three sisters, all of West Virginia.

Interment will be in the Corder cemetery, near his boyhood home.
