Betty's grandson Aaron Douglas Jr. told me in 2001 just before he died that Betty was born a Maynus (Not sure of spelling). He said that she married a man with last name of Hampton and they had daughter Alice. After Mr. Hampton died, Betty married to a man with last name of Perkey (not sure of spelling) they had daughter Nannie. After Mr. Perkey died. Betty married my grandfather Riley Hubbard. My grandfather raised Alice and Nannie as his own daughters. He loved them and they loved him and took his last name of Hubbard until they got married.
