He was born on July 9th, 1950 in Dallas, Texas to Lupe Valderas and Mary Guerra. Edward was raised in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Crozier Tech in 1969. He married Dora Castillo Valderas in 1969 and the couple had three children. He was a Digital Printing Technician in Lithographics at the Dallas Market Center where he worked for more than twelve years.
In his spare time, Edward enjoyed golf, baseball, football, gardening, dancing, and boxing. His family and friends will always remember him as a dancer who loved to garden, spend time with his family and had a great sense of humor.
Some of Mr. Valderas' most memorial accomplishments include being involved in the Pan American Golf Association, named Best Dressed at Crozier Tech., awarded the Golden Gloves Boxing Champion, named the Champion Football Star at St. Ann's and had the good fortune to dance on the Ron Chapmen Show.
He is preceded in death by his father, Lupe Valderas; mother, Mary Guerra; brothers, Lupito, Ruben, Alfred, and Richard Valderas and Juan Garcia. He is survived by his wife, Dora Valderas, children, Edward Valderas Jr., Jewel Valderas, Tristan Hurtado; grandchild, Jaxon Valderas; brothers, Hector, Steven, Gabriel, and Gerald Valderas; sisters, Erminia Castro, Esmeralda Valderas, and Priscilla Quintanilla.
