Helen Elizabeth Lepley, 97, of Capon Bridge, WV died on Friday, March 29, 2019 at the Hampshire Center in Romney, WV.
Helen was born on November 18, 1921 in Mt. Savage, MD, a daughter of the late Joseph M. and Bessie Geary Brailer. She was a member of the Hebron Baptist Church in Gore, VA.
Helen married Wilbert S. “Sam” Lepley on January 12, 1940 in Cumberland, MD. Mr. Lepley died on August 18, 2004.
Surviving are three sons: Stanton W. “Sonny” Lepley and wife Linda of Augusta, WV; William S. Lepley and wife Kay of Gore, VA; Edward R. Lepley and wife Mary of Bunker Hill, WV; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and a special caregiver: Pam Mayhew.
A funeral service will be at the Giffin Funeral Home & Crematory in Capon Bridge, WV on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be Pastor James Simmons. Graveside will be in the Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens in LaVale, MD
