Ralph J. 'Jack' Mullins, 75, of Woodville went peacefully to be with his Lord on April 4, 2007.
Born January 28, 1932 in Norman, Arkansas to the late Osco and Eura Mullins, he lived in Woodville almost his entire lifetime. He was a veteran of the Korean War and was a retired correctional officer for the Texas Department of Corrections. He was a member of Camp Ground Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving family; his wife of 51 years, Ann Mullins; his children, daughter, D'Juana Montgomery and son-in-law, Max Montgomery of Cleburne, Tx, daughter, Sandra Dill and son-in-law, Kevin Dill of Marlton, New Jersey, son, Ralph Mullins and daughter-in-law, Laura Mullins of Lufkin and son, Carl Mullins and daughter-in-law, Pamela Mullins of Sugar Land; eight grandchildren, Elizabeth Davis, Daniel Montgomery, Michelle Rhodes, Brian Dill, Austin Dill, Jack Mullins, Ryan Mullins and Sarah Mullins and one great grandchild, Addison Davis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Osco and Eura Mullins and one brother, Jessie Troy Mullins.
Funeral service was held Saturday, April 7, 2007, at 10 a.m. at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Raymond Parker officiating. Burial followed at Camp Ground Cemetery. Visitation was held Friday evening at the funeral home.
Honoring their grandfather, his grandsons were pallbearers, Daniel Montgomery, Brian Dill, Austin Dill, Jack Mullins, Ryan Mullins and Scott Davis. Honorary pallbearers were Chris Hill and Cody Evans.
Services were held under the direction of Riley Funeral Home of Tyler County.
