Mr. Allen was employed as a guard at Daquesne University Pittsburgh. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving are his widow, Pauline (Washington) Allen, Keyser; daughter, Diane Roach, Westwood, N.J.; three sons, Darnell Allen, Keyser; Delton Allen, Lesotho, South Africa; and Darrell Allen, Keyser; two step-daughters, Dorene Allen, Piedmont; and Darlene Allen, Columbus, Ohio; two step-sons, Marlon Allen and Paul Dwight Allen, both of Keyser; 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The body was cremated.
The Warden Funeral Home, Pittsburg, was in charge of arrangements. The family requests that memorials take the form of contributions to The Negley Home, Nursing and Rehabilitation Section, 550 South Negley Avenue, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15232.
