The body of Dewey Vaentine Atchison was received here Monday night from Albuquerque, N. Mexico, where he had died on the 14th inst 1921. from tuberculosis, with which he had been afflicted for a considerable time his people"having" moved to New Mexico in the hope that the climate would effect a cure of the malady. Funeral services were held at the home of his sister, Mrs. Starley Fanning, Tuesday, October 18 and Interment made in the Waverly cemetery. Services were conducted by Rev Tannehill. Dewey was born here on the 14th of February, 1898, and was at the time of his death 23 years and 8 months of age. He is survived by his father and mother, three sisters and four brothers, one of the latter, Vernon Atchison, making his home here now. The family moved to Iola several years ago,, and from there to New Mexico a year or so ago
