Frank Landers, 67, well known Portland, Indiana, resident, died Thursday noon at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Charles Freer of seven miles north of Muncie, Indiana, following an extended illness.
The body was removed to the Baird Freeman funeral home, where friends may call. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Baird chapel, in charge of Rev. Paul Eger, with interment in Gravel Hill cemetery.
Mr. Landers was born at Bryant, Indiana, August 15, 1883, the son of William and Lucy Landers. He was married in 1906 to Carrie F. Landers, who survives with six children; Mrs. Charles Freer; Riley Landers, of near Bryant; Mrs. Audrey Guntle, of Pennville, Mrs. Earl Guntle of Bryant; James and Homer Landers of Portland; 20 grandchilden and one great -grandchild, and two brothers; Edward and John Landers of Portland.
