The Funeral Services were 3 P.M. Saturday February 23, 2019 at Elgin Baptist Church by the Rev. Todd Rudisill with burial at Lancaster Memorial Park.
The Family will received friends from 2-3 P.M. at the church before services.
She was born October 16, 1927 in Lancaster County of the Fork Hill Community, a daughter of the late Hunter Blackmon and Bertha Couch Blackmon, and was married to the late Sam Gainey.
Mrs. Gainey is survived by 3 sons Rickey Gainey and wife Judy, Barry Gainey and wife Debbie, and Sandy Gainey all of Lancaster, 4 Daughters Vivian B. Flouhouse and husband Clint of Charlotte, N.C., Denise Beaver and husband Douglas, Dianne Driver and husband Dennis, and Marilyn G. Ellis and husband Doug, 15 Grandchildren, 30 Great-Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren, 1 Brother Alva Blackmon and wife Ann, and 1 Sister Elvis Ray, both of Lancaster.
She was preceded in death by 2 Grandsons Darren Sean Beecher (46553053) and Andrew David Beecher(46553039).
