Aaron Robert Brumfield, 22, of Forest, died Saturday, September 08, 2018.

Born Friday, May 03, 1996 in Lynchburg, Aaron was a son of the late Leland Clyde Brumfield and Nadine Kerr Durbin.

In addition to his mother, Aaron is survived by step-father Dave Durbin, of Forest, sister Sarah Brumfield, nieces Leah and Kylee, and nephew Christian, all of Lynchburg; grandfather Robert Kerr of Gladys, grandmother Joann Rhorer of Conroe, TX, step sisters, Melissa Knott and her husband, Matt, and Amanda Dudiwka and her husband, Bryan, step brother, Matthew Durbin, aunts, Dianne Robertson, Nancy Grimes and her husband, Danny and Debra Kerr, uncle Allan Kerr and numerous cousins.

In addition to his father, Aaron was preceded in death by his grandmother, Joyce Brumfield.

Aaron had numerous friends; some of his closest were Suzanna, Gabe, Allison, Cameron, Nick, Tyler, Caleb, Cory, Jon, Melissa, Zenub and Autumn. Aaron was a man of the earth; fiercely loyal to family and friends. He loved fast cars, fast motorcycles, video games, camping and chilling with friends. While small in stature, he had a heart as big as a barn; feelings as sensitive as a flower; a will as strong as steel. He loved working with his hands, yet had a first class brain. There was no more a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and grandson. He not only loved, but also lived life. He is gone in body but for those he touched, his spirit will live on for the rest of our lives.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg. A celebration of Aaron’s life will follow at 6:30 p.m., with Pastor Brian Layman officiating.
