FRANKLINTOWN Elenor Darline Stein, 65, passed away Friday, June 8, 2007, at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill. She was born January 30, 1942, in Clovis, N.M., the daughter of the late Joseph and Edna (Hall) Davis. Darline was a retired cook for the Northern York County School District. She was a member of the Franklintown United Brethren Church and served for many years as a Republican Committeewomen for Franklintown. Darline is survived by her husband, Rodney E. Stein of Franklintown; two daughters, Barbara N. Johnson of Eufaula, Okla., and Tammy G. Palmer of Franklintown; four brothers, Joe Roy Davis of Clovis, N.M., Cecil Davis of Albuquerque, N.M., Jimmy Davis of El Paso, Texas, and George Davis of Clovis, N.M.; one stepsister, Mildred Floers of Fresno, Calif.; and three granddaughters. Services will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St. Dillsburg, with her pastor, the Rev. Charles C. Milliken, officiating. Burial will follow in the Dillsburg Cemetery-Golf Course Road. A viewing will be held Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
