Obituary - Mattie Little Hanks, 84, 241 E. 4th N., Provo, died Friday at her home of causes incident to age. She was born Dec. 8, 1886, in Tooele, a daughter of George Edwin and Martha Taylor Little.
She married Arthur Eugene Hanks on Dec. 30,1906, in Haden, Ida. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple. He died Jan. 26, 1963. She was active in the LDS Church, residing in the Manavu Ward.
Survivors include two sons and two daughters, Ray E. Hanks, Orem; Lincoln Hanks, Salt Lake MATTIE L. HANKS City; Mrs. Golden (Teton) Jackman, Provo; Mrs. John (Floretta) Sears, Oakland, Calif.; 19 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Olpin Family Mortuary of Provo under the direction of Bishop Vernon Tyler of the Manavu Ward. Friends may call at the mortuary Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday prior to services. Burial will be in the Provo City Cemetery.
