She married Albert McGee, June 10, 1948 and had two children.
She could be found most of the time in the woods behind her house trimming limbs and burning them. That's where she got another nickname, "Firebug". She enjoyed planting flowers and always had a beautiful backyard. If she wasn't doing something in the yard you could find her sitting on the patio with a few of her friends sipping coffee and catching up on the latest happenings.
Pie is survived by her son, Thomas J. McGee and wife Lucretia of Clayton, Oklahoma; daughter, Carolyn McGee of Clayton, Oklahoma; two granddaughters, Valarie Brinlee and husband Robert of Clayton,OK and Christi King of Tulsa, Oklahoma; great grandchildren, Lindsay Youngblood and husband Zach of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Tyler Brinlee of Stillwater Oklahoma; Ryan Brinlee and wife Celia of Wilburton, Oklahoma; Josh Didlot of Tulsa, Oklahoma; great grandchildren, Rylan Roman Tate and Aubrey Brinley of Wilburton, Oklahoma; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Albert, parents, L.J. and Virginia, brother, L.J. Jr also known as "Pud", sister, Jessie Lee, grandson, Thomas Jackson McGee and a great grandson, Tanner Anthony Grorfield.
Graveside service will be Friday, March 29th, 2019, 10:00AM at A.L. Stephens Cemetery, Clayton, Oklahoma.
