Linnie was the daughter of William Fielding and Eliza (McGee) Drum. She married John Walter Keener in 1905 and they were the parents of five children: Neta Bright, Maude Gertrude, O'Neal Franklin, Lara Eliz, and Gaither McDonald 'Don'.
