William Clinton Price was born Oct. 11, 1882 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas, and departed this life March 24, 1976 in the West Plains Memorial Hospital at the age of 93 years, five months and 13 days.
He was united in marriage December 25, 1910 at Nocona, Texas to Beulah Alsup, who preceded him in death. Later in 1944 he was united in marriage at Phoenix, AZ. to Alice D. Smith, who preceded him in death on Oct. 5, 1975.
He is survived by one daughter, Minnieola West of Albuquerque, New Mexico; five sons, Rupert Price of Waterford CA, Lawrence Price of Lubbock Texas, Leon Price of Thayer MO, Billy Joe Price of Bakersfield CA and Frank Price of San Francisco CA; 19 grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and five great, great-grandchildren.
He had been a Christian for 81 years, and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Free Will Baptist Church. He was a retired school teacher and bookkeeper, and was also retired from the grocery business. He came to Thayer ten years ago from Phoenix, Arizona.
Burial at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Thayer MO.
