Ethel (Osterberg) Denny passed away on April 27, 2018 at Kingsway Retirement Living in Belle Plaine where she resided for nine years.
Ethel was born in Kensington, Minn., on Nov. 24, 1913 to Emma and Arthur Osterberg. She married Harold Denny on Nov. 30, 1939. They resided in Mantorville where they farmed and Ethel taught school for 46 years. Ethel loved teaching, music and chatting. She loved to tell stories and she had many.
Ethel is survived by two sons, Richard (Dorothy) Denny of Rochester and Robert (Rose) Denny of Belle Plaine, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her husband, parents and siblings. She had a great 104 years!
A memorial service will be held at a later time at Kingsway Retirement Living with interment to be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Mantorville.
