OBITUARY MORRIS- Beatrice Ellen Decker, 95 passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2008. She was born in Oneonta on July 6, 1913 daughter of Edward and Clara (Carroll) Tripp. She was married to Ceylon Decker on August 21, 1932 in West Oneonta. He passed away on July 14, 1975. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Morris for over 86 years. She served in almost every office in the church besides being a Sunday school teacher for many years. She also was a 4H and Girl Scout leader for 20 years and was the head of the Syracuse Blood mobile of Morris for many years. She served as an inspector on the election board for 40 years. She was also manager of the Dimock Hollow Telephone Co. (Morris and South New Berlin) for fourteen and a half years. Before retiring, she was secretary-accountant for Neil Nielsen Inc. as well as Treasurer of the Morris Central School and was the bookkeeper for the town of Morris and Howard Sheldon Auction Service. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Marilyn Minster of Unadilla, Dolores Armstrong of Rockwood, TN and Diane Roffe of Morris. Her grand children include Mr. & Mrs. David Zorda of Unadilla, Mr. & Mrs. William (Jody) Biddlecome of Greenville, NC, Mr. & Mrs. Robert Zorda of Unadilla, Kelly Lutz of Oneonta, Murray Bell of Morris, Mr. & Mrs. Michael Bell of Columbia, NJ, Mr. & Mrs. Jacob (Kim) Relyea of Canastota, Mr. & Mrs. Joel (Jennifer) Wikoff of Oneonta, James Roffe of Rochester, as well as a granddaughter in law, Sandra Zorda of Bainbridge and several great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 2 brothers and a grandson, Frank (John) Zorda Jr. There will be no calling hours and funeral services will be held at the Morris Baptist Church on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at 3:00 pm. With the Rev. Norman Moran and Rev. Mark Norlund officiating. Committal services and burial will follow in Hillington Cemetery in Morris.
