Born Oct. 18, 1927, in Crandall, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Carrie Scheler Whitlock.
She was a homemaker, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Georgetown, Georgetown Ladies Bunco group and Georgetown Christian Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Davis, and a sister, Joyce Ann Seymour.
Survivors include a daughter, Connie Davis of Georgetown; three sons, Jerry L. and Jay H. Davis, both of Georgetown, and Jack R. Davis of New Albany; a sister, Donna Jean Woods; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, June 6, from 3 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, June 7, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown.
Funeral: Thursday, June 7, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Bethelhem Cemetery near Crandall.
Officiant: Pastor Roebin Tyler.
