Cona went to be with her heavenly father on March 21, 2019. She was born to William and Mazie Lee Wright on April 1, 1932, in Pocahontas, AR, and at age 18 she moved to Rockford, IL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert and daughter, Deborah Honeycutt, as well as five siblings and her mother and father.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Bobby Ridge; sons-in-law, Charlie Ridge and Mark Honeycutt; grandchildren, Chris and Jennifer Minor, Christy Ridge and Mark Honeycutt, II; great-grandchildren, Tristan, Tyson and Teagan Minor and sister, Billie Sue and her husband James and many adored nieces and nephews.
She loved God and was a diligent daily Bible reader and had read the Bible through several times. She was a member at North MacArthur Church of Christ and enjoyed her sweet fellowship with the brethren there. We’ve been blessed to have her and she will be greatly missed! “I love you more!”
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 8701 N.W. Expressway, Oklahoma City, OK 73162. A service will be held in honor of Cona on Monday, March 25, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cona’s favorite charity, Smile Train.
