She was born the daughter of Victor and Louise (Gervais) Mooso.

Mrs. LaPier married Elwin C. LaPier at St. Joseph's Church in 1930; he died in 1984.

Survivors include one son, Elwin S. LaPier of Passadian, MD; one daughter, Mrs. Madeline Coupal of Chazy; one brother, Leeward Mooso of Port Kent; three sisters, Mrs. Thomas (Geraldine Kemp of Chazy, Mrs. Veronica Wells of Chazy and Mrs. Earl (Mary) LaBarge of Warrensburg, NY; ten grandchildren; severn g-grandchildren.
